Who is Metal Tracker for?

For stackers and savers who own physical precious metals – a few coins or a full safe. If you want to know what your stack is worth today, what you paid over spot and when a holding becomes tax-free, Metal Tracker is for you.

What does Metal Tracker cost?

Live prices for all five metals, up to 10 holdings and one alert are free. Pro unlocks unlimited holdings and alerts, the holding-period countdown, premium and average-cost insights, widgets, export, sync and the app lock – as a subscription with a free trial or as a one-time purchase. The store shows the price for your country.

How does Metal Tracker make money?

Through ads in the free version and the optional upgrades. We never sell data, and your holdings are not sent to us.

Where are my holdings stored?

Only on your device. You can sync them through your own iCloud or save a backup file. The app only loads public spot prices from the internet.

How does the holding-period countdown work?

From the purchase date the app calculates when the one-year holding period under German and Austrian rules ends and shows the remaining days. It is a planning aid, not tax advice – rules differ by country and situation.
